In Mark 1:15 we read that Jesus began to preach this message: “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” We believe that what Jesus preached is exactly what we must preach and teach today. For that reason, all that we do as a church is measured by this one criterion: Does this honor and advance the gospel?
What is the gospel? It is the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, has come, has taught and demonstrated the power and life of the Kingdom of God, has given Himself to die on the cross in payment for our sins, has risen again in victory over sin, death, and hell, is coming again, and that all who call on His name will be saved!
Here is how we as a church are working to keep the gospel at the center of all we do:
